Total Ink Solutions Metallic Series is a phthalate free plastisol ink that creates an attractive and sparkling Metallic print effect on a wide variety of substrates. This ink truly looks like a melted metal in a can and prints easier than any other metallic in in the industry.

Stock Use:

100% Cotton
50% Cotton / 50% Polyester
100% Polyester

Details:

Print metallic inks with ease by using the correct mesh screen. There is no need for any underbase with this product. Simply print 2 hits of ink and you are good to go for each color. If you are printing multiple inks, then flash the metallic ink at 220°F (105°C) for 3 - 5 seconds prior to printing your next color. The metallics reflective attribute may elongate the flash time depending on flash unit. Make sure to test prior to full production. Also, please note that while this is a low cure ink the metallic attribute needs to be taken into account when curing as metallic finishes can reflect heat, so make sure the ink is fully cured through testing prior to production.

MESH:

We suggest a 110 mesh screen for the Metallic Series of inks.

Curing Instructions:

Flash at 220°F (105°C) for 3 - 5 seconds and cure at 300°F (149°C).

Clean Up:

OPTIWASH 125 – Ink Remover

Storage Information:

Store at 65-90°F (18-32°C), avoiding direct sunlight. Best Use within one year of manufacturing date.
